Description:

  • We are looking for an Agile Practitioner who can function as a scrum coach for several scrum teams and also guide a team of scrum masters ("coach" the coaches). This is a telecommuting position.

Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • This role will function as my back-up while I am on maternity leave; providing support for a team of scrum masters and coaching teams on a program

Experience:

  • Someone that has implemented LeSS (may be hard to find); also someone that has managed budgets and has coached a large number of teams

Top Requirements:

  • 7+ years experience in Agile delivery and 3+ years experience in devOps or lean agile experience
  • 5+ years experience managing budgets over $10MM
  • 5+ years experience leading and influencing several teams (developers, POs, peers)

Team and Team size:

  • Coach 4 scrum masters and 10 development teams

The top responsibilities for the position are:

  • Be the voice of devOps culture; guide scrum teams and scrum masters towards a continuous delivery mindset and best practices
  • Manage program financials
  • Foster a team collaborative environment that tears down silos between groups – act in a single voice
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • Develop, coach, and mentor team members to advance their skills and career
  • Gain support for initiatives through influence and use of business rationale
  • A healthcare-specific background is a nice-to-have but not a dealbreaker.

Required skills:

  • 7+ years experience in Agile delivery
  • devOps or lean agile experience
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, team building and relationship building skills
  • Own budget accountability in the $10MM-$15MM range or greater
  • Ability to lead and influence several teams
  • Experience implementing LeSS will set a candidate apart..
