Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • The Principal User Experience Designer will work within a collaborative, cross-functional project team to design portals, applications and web properties.
  • They will partner with UX researchers, designers, developers and UX managers to translate information architecture, navigation and process flows into easy-to-use and aesthetically beautiful solutions.

Ideal Background:

  • At least 7 years of UX design experience, including:
  • Experience creating wireframes and prototypes to communicate design concepts
  • Experience with various UX design and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Axure, InVision, Miro, etc.)
  • Experience participating in user research and concept testing with users
  • Portfolio of relevant user experience project deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts clearly and persuasively across diverse audiences at various levels of the organization

Team and Team size:

  • The number of agile team members can range from 1 to 5 or more.
  • 1 PM 2 to 8 Developers.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Perform design duties for one or more projects to meet UX, technical, and business needs
  • Use wireframes, flow diagrams, sketches, storyboards, mockups, and/or high?fidelity prototypes to communicate the current or future user experience.
  • Participate in gathering research insights and concept testing to inform design decisions.
  • Advocate for user?centered design including research, design, and accessibility.
  • Leverage and contribute to existing design systems, pattern libraries, and UI guidelines..

Skills/attributes Required

  • Degree in Design, Human?Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Information Architecture, Communications, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Experience designing enterprise software, B2B applications or large employee?facing systems and medical or healthcare domains
  • Knowledge of UX? related analytics, metrics, and measurement techniques
  • Experience training and mentoring junior design staff.

Skills/attributes Preferred

  • The ability to explain their design thinking process and providing examples of how they have lead team design projects.
