Security Engineer

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in Information Security with two or more of the following Information Security technologies: SIEM, DLP, Firewall, IDS/IPS, Web Proxy, WAF, Endpoint protection & vulnerability management in a blended environment of major Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows Client/Server, Linux RedHat)
  • Experience HIDS, NIDS, Firewalls, Proxies, Routers, Switches, WAF's, Servers, Desktop Controls, Endpoint Protection, etc.)
  • Exposure to public cloud security

Job Description:

  • Responsible for providing cybersecurity expertise related to any of the following: monitoring cybersecurity devices, investigation of events, investigation of incidents, escalation or mitigation of incidents and events, compliance reviews, cybersecurity analysis, design, or deployment of devices.
  • 5+ years experience in Information Security with two or more of the following Information Security technologies: SIEM, DLP, Firewall, IDS/IPS, Web Proxy, WAF, Endpoint protection & vulnerability management in a blended environment of major Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows Client/Server, Linux RedHat)
  • Strong experience with interpreting the log output of a wide selection of network and host device classes (HIDS, NIDS, Firewalls, Proxies, Routers, Switches, WAF's, Servers, Desktop Controls, Endpoint Protection, etc.)
  • Experience with a public/gov cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Professional certifications in IT and Information security, such as Security+, CISSP, OSCP, CASP+, CYSA+, MCSE, CCNA, as well as knowledge in SQL, Python, Ruby, or other programming languages is desired.
  • Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively.
  • Technical documentation and customer service skills.
