Description:
- User Experience Design Studio is looking for an energetic and creative Senior User Experience Designer who is passionate about creating great health care experiences.
- We're seeking a savvy designer who wants to work on important and complex challenges.
- You'll collaborate with a cross?functional project team to design dashboards, portals, apps, or websites and partner with UX researchers, designers, and developers to create great experiences for our users.
- Using user research, analysis, and UX methodologies, you'll translate user needs, patterns, information architecture, process flows, and other design inputs into easy?to?use and aesthetically beautiful solutions.

Team and Team size:
- Depends on the project. Could be a solo UXer, part of a larger team including researcher, other designers or A11y engineer. Could also be a lead UX.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform design duties for one or more projects to meet UX, technical, and business needs.
- Use wireframes, flow diagrams, sketches, storyboards, mockups, and/or high?fidelity prototypes to communicate the current or future user experience.
- Participate in gathering research insights and concept testing to inform design decisions.
- Advocate for user?centered design including research, design, and accessibility.
- Leverage and contribute to existing design systems, pattern libraries, and UI guidelines.
- Critique in?progress design work, evaluating the usability and effectiveness of solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of UX design experience, including:
- Experience creating wireframes and prototypes to communicate design concepts
- Experience with various UX design and collaboration tools (e.g., Sketch, Axure, Figma, InVision,
- Miro, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Demonstrated understanding of mature user?centered design and research practices
- Experience participating in user research and concept testing with users
- Portfolio of relevant user experience project deliverables
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and writte
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Design, Human?Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Information Architecture, Communications, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Experience designing enterprise software, B2B applications or large employee?facing systems
- Prior experience with medical or healthcare industries
- Experience working within Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of UX? related analytics, metrics, and measurement techniques
- Experience in practical application of accessibility standards and guidelines
- Demonstrated skills in group facilitation and conducting research (user interviews, heuristic evaluations, task analysis, usability test moderation, card sorting, etc.)
- Knowledge of foundational web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience designing for mobile and/or responsive web
- Leadership and/or involvement in the UX community (e.g., UXPA, AIGA, IxDA, meet?ups, clubs, conferences)
- Visual design or illustration skills a plus
