Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Conduct analyses on member contacts and experience to generate insights for the omnichannel teams.
  • Analyze data to uncover stories and themes and concisely present findings in a digestible manner
  • Generate actionable insights through metric monitoring and deep dive
  • Become a trusted advisor in the highly visible omnichannel domain.

Ideal Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, Health Administration, Mathematics or related field and 5+ years of advanced analytics experience

Team and Team size:

  • 1 Senior Manager, 4 Data Engineers, 9 Data Scientists.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
  • Generate Analytic insights from data
  • Communicate results to relevant audiences, seek and apply feedback into future iterations, and new analytic development
  • Data ETL and analysis from SQL and big data environment as needed

Skills/attributes Required

  • Solid analytical expertise: data analysis, statistical analysis, data manipulation, data extraction and reporting (5+ years)
  • Experience with SQL, Hive, Spark and/or other data manipulation and statistical tools (5+ years)
  • Intermediate to Advanced data visualization skills, such as Tableau/Power BI (3+)
  • Adept at using Excel for analysis and visualization
  • Data visualizations and building compelling visual stories
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with leaders across the organization and external customers

Skills/attributes Preferred

  • Experience synthesizing analysis into actionable and easy to digest insights
  • Experience working with healthcare data
  • Experience in predictive modeling, data manipulation, reporting, and analysis
  • Advanced to expert proficiency with SQL, SAS, and/or other data manipulation and statistical tools
