Job Description: 
  • The Retail & Pricing Modernization (aka Pricing RPM) is part of Pricing Domain that comes under Multi Channel Commerce (part of Multi-Channel Ordering).
  • The RPM Teams are focused on
  • building out the integrations for other systems to get pricing & offer information.
  • building the tools and applications that will be leveraged by our Analysts to configure pricing and offers.
Project Description:
  • Hiring team is primarily responsible for building out the tools and web apps that will be leveraged by our Analysts to configure pricing and offers.
  • These tools are mostly web applications that are associate facing only.
  • Some applications the team owns include:
  • Contract Pricing Tool
  • Pricing Simulator
  • Item Price Management and so on
Position Summary/Job Description:
  • You will be part of a product development which supports the Client activated device price planning process.
  • Product provides platform to merchant analysts to manage/plan contracts and discounts for activated devices that end users buy on Client or at Client stores.
How much time will the resource spend pair programming? 
  • Need basis, and required to pair up with team during the initial onboarding process
Skills Overview:
What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job?
  • 5 or more years of relevant software engineering/ software development experience
  • 3 or more years’ experience using one or more of the following:
  • Java 8/11
  • Springboot
  • Kafka
  • Github
  • Jenkins
  • Spock testing
  • Splunk/Kibana
  • Grafana
  • Experience in building highly scalable distributed systems
  • Demonstrates expertise in analysis and optimization of systems capacity, performance, and operational health
What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?
  • Groovy/Kotlin language experience
  • React/JavaScript programming
  • Reactive Programming
  • AWS deployment process
