Primary Responsibilities

  • As part of our Technology Enablement team, you will play a significant part in supporting our Medicare and Medicaid businesses.
  • The nature of this role is providing leading edge technology building blocks to enable advanced analytics, enhanced business processes and ultimately improve the member experience.
  • You will interact with other teams such as benefits, eligibility and claims and individuals in roles such as engineers, architects and business partners.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience building production, web enabled software in a scaled distributed environment
  • 5+ years in Java (preferably java 8+) or GoLang
  • 3+ years implementing RESTful microservices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SQL

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years with JSON and/or Avro message formats
  • 2+ years with Kafka or similar pub/sub technology
  • 3+ years with Spring framework / Spring boot
  • Expertise in container virtualization utilizing Docker and CICD using Jenkins
  • Expertise with git version manager Experience working within the commercial Azure platform
  • Experience developing solutions with GoLang Knowledge of a variety of modern programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Node)
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment Strategies
  • Data Modeling and data management experience
  • Unit and Integration testing experience
  • Exposure to a variety of modern database technologies (SQL, mySQL/relational as well as NoSQL)

Team and Team size:

  • Non-technical manager, Technical lead, Scrum Master, 2 to 4 engineers per team
