Role Summary:

  • The SAP Vistex Architect should have excellent functional background and technical experience.
  • Highly preferred to have consumer products experience.
  • Implementation and Production support experience of SAP Vistex covering the following processes:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Chargebacks, Rebates, and thorough knowledge on interaction with SAP OTC Pricing Procedures.
  • Strong understanding of Order to Cash processes, SD configuration including SAP FI integration.
  • Candidate will be responsible for leading design and configuration decisions.
  • Candidate should have experience interacting with a technical team and is willing to work in a support role. In addition to the day to day system support, the senior architect will also be responsible for project-based initiatives such as enhancements, system add-ons and upgrades.
  • Accountable for support of the business applications in their supported business area i.e. SAP Vistex.
  • Act as Vistex Enterprise Architect at program meetings.
  • Perform detailed configuration of SAP Vistex module including development of various specialized reports.
  • Design, Implement, test and support Vistex pricing functionality.
  • Support and lead the rebates / chargeback team to identify discrepancies between the accounts while calculating the rebates/fees and fix the root cause.
  • Perform systems analysis and design by meeting with end users and outlining detailed specifications to effectively meet business needs and objectives.
  • Able to research SAP issues through OSS, evaluating, applying and testing OSS notes.
  • Develop Business process procedures / SOP documentation and assist / train end users in executing the transactions.
  • Manage, educate and influence the finance and customer service teams.
  • Ability to work in the fast-paced environment, collaborative attitude and a Strategic thinker.


  • 5-7 Years of overall experience in SAP
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience developing SAP Vistex solutions and/or SAP pricing.
  • Experience in full life cycle of SAP Vistex Implementation experience or related activities.
  • In depth understanding of SAP Vistex module and its integration points.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong understanding of Order to Cash processes, SD configuration including SAP FI integration.
  • Strong knowledge of production support processes, presentation skills, oral and written communication skills and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of ABAP concepts, writing Functional / Technical specifications, designing & implementing user exits.
  • Strong in MS Office suite
  • Ability to perform under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative, Customer focused and able to create visible value.

  • Promotes, guides and governs good architectural practice through the application of well-defined, proven technology and human interaction patterns and through architecture mentorship.
  • Supports the full lifecycle management of the entire IT portfolio including the selection, appropriate usage, enhancement and replacement of information technology applications, infrastructure and services.

  • Typically manages major / moderately complex projects, involving delegation of work and review of work products, at times acting as a team leader.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • Requires mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • May have broad knowledge of project management.
  • Requires a University Degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
