Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • This position will be supporting an IT PM (Integration Lead) and Engagement Manager as part of a project team performing integration activities for entities acquired by 
  • See requirements below for responsibilities and examples of specific tasks this person will be doing.

Ideal Background:

  • Strong administrative, organizational and follow-up skills. Attention to detail a must.
  • Min 3 years experience supporting IT projects, preferably IT Infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with Network Integrations desired. Insurance industry experience a plus.
  • Willing and able to apply skills, experience, and common sense to solve problems.
  • Comfortable attempting to influence others over whom they do not have direct authority and confident interacting with members of management other than their direct manager.
  • Able to change focus and direction in response to changing business needs. Remains effective and productive when priorities change unexpectedly.
  • Possesses a high tolerance for ambiguity.
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience:

  • Experience supporting projects involving Network Integrations.
  • Experience in the Healthcare and Insurance industries.

Top Requirements:

  • Min 3 years experience supporting IT projects.
  • Strong administrative, organizational and follow-up skills. Min 5 years professional experience.
  • High level of attention to detail. Min 5 years professional experience.

Team and Team size:

  • The typical project team will have ~8-12 team members and include people in the following roles: IT PM (Integration Lead), Engagement Manager, Architect, Network Engineer, Telecom Analyst, Vendor resources performing site surveys.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Complete tasks identified in the project plan and influence others to do the same in support of the Integration Leads, Engagement Managers, and overall project team members.
  • Provide input to the Project Plan and recommendations to the team regarding tasks, effort durations and resources needed to successfully complete project objectives.
  • Identify problems, offer possible solutions, and escalate to the team or other appropriate parties any issues putting project success at risk.
  • Update forecasts, collect and consolidate status from team members, identify and maintain project risks and issues log, and prepare status reports and key metrics.
  • Facilitate meetings as needed to complete assigned work or in-place of Integration Lead.
  • Drive capture and detailed tracking of all key data elements (site surveys, remediation efforts, vendor needs and status, etc.) needed by project team members to ensure tasks are completed and milestones met.

Specific Examples Include:

  • Provide documentation at the CDO level on # of sites, surveys completed, sites with remediation needed, scope per site, initial estimates, etc. Align on Have to have vs. Nice to have with DCF.
  • Establishing timelines to complete the have to have work in coordination with site cutover schedules and follow up on the nice to have work post cutover.
  • Download & review site pictures provided and analyze for completeness, updating documentation to reflect complete or revisit needed and for what purpose.
  • Upload pictures to MS Teams channel per CDO (Care Delivery Organization) Site and engage with DCF (Data Center Facilities) team on starting to draft current state rack diagrams & develop site remediation analysis and recommendations.
  • Update site survey & rack tracking documentation and supply metrics weekly across all CDOs.
  • Coordinate with DCF on availability and confirm rack diagrams are completed and address any issues they identify requiring follow up. Coordinate with Integration Leads & vendors on any re-visits needed.
  • Collaborate with Real Estate to identify scope and resources needed to perform the work (e.g. ComNet, local contractor, electrician, plumber, etc.) and schedule for completion.
  • Track completion and coordinate with Integration Lead on scheduling circuit turn up and hardware burn in.
