Purpose of Job

  • We aren’t looking for just the typical Change Manager. We are seeking an innovative and immersive technology enthusiast to help lead our strategic initiatives to the finish line and create a foundation for the future.
  • The Change Management and Organizational Readiness Manager will provide Change Management leadership and strategic vision to execute change management activities that drive awareness, prepare employees and managers for change, and actively engage staff and leaders.
  • You’ll be key in ensuring adoption of new job roles, new business processes, new systems/technologies, or new organizational structures.
  • The position may also deliver Organizational Readiness objectives as part of the various transformative initiatives. Goals will be accomplished through building collaborative partnerships with leaders and stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • This position will oversee management of significant change management activities such as: change planning, change readiness, process/ procedure optimization, training, stakeholder engagement, and communications across the Insurance Solutions enterprise.

Job Components

  • Establishes the change management and communications strategy and planning for large organizational initiatives and agile transformation.
  • Designs and develops plans with tactical and executable tasks, actions and activities to prepare, equip, and support staff through change.
  • Works closely with senior management, transformation leaders, and business liaisons to understand change impacts and craft compelling change plans. Executes on these plans to successfully realize the expected business value and outcomes.
  • Provides oversight for and assists in the development of change impact assessments and stakeholder analyses
  • Governs the communication process and provides the appropriate standards and tools to create awareness of the change efforts, enable users to be successful with the changes, and drive adoption.
  • Defines and measures success metrics and monitors change progress.
  • Works collaboratively with business leaders, project leaders, and impacted departments outside of the department/division, coordinating efforts across stakeholder groups to analyze and assess readiness for change.
  • Works collaboratively with Product Owners, Training, Business Analysts, and Documentation Analysts to ensure users are appropriately prepared and enabled for change
  • Works in partnership with senior leadership to design the future state operating model and organization structure
  • Creates, manages and leads change agent groups to enhance change support within the organization.
  • Conducts lessons learned and user adoption analyses to drive change adoption.

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills. Is able to listen well, facilitate thoughtful discussions, and explain key change management concepts to all levels of the organization. Can compile and deliver powerful presentations.
  • Is a self-directed and independent thinker who is flexible, adaptable, and able to effectively navigate fast paced, changing environments.
  • Has the ability to collaboratively deliver results, influence outcomes and drive consensus amongst senior leaders, business and technology SMEs, and third party partners.
  • Has the ability to drive strategy and process improvements.
  • Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Has strong persuasion and influencing skills.
  • Has excellent organizational, time management, prioritization skills along with an ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Has an ability to foresee opportunities, barriers, and obstacles while formulating mitigation plans to overcome them.
  • Works productively and effectively in all directions – up, down, sideways, inside and outside – to get great things done
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Strong communication skills at all levels including c- suite level audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Experience with creating and executing operating models.
