POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • The purpose of this Senior IT Business Analyst role will be to manage a program for our software deployment platform.
  • This role will be required to maintain a system roadmap, analyze business requirements, and onboard and manage projects.
  • The cross-functional position of this role requires effective communication with numerous functional areas.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Creates, tracks, and communicates roadmap for software deployment platform
  • Advocate for use of IT Connected Care software deployment platform to increase awareness and interest with new internal Company's  stakeholders.
  • Scopes and estimates new project requests by partnering with the business to understand the business need.
  • Onboards and implements new projects, creates project plans including timelines and milestones and track progress.
  • Works with external vendor partners and cross functional IT teams to implement new capabilities based on the evolving needs of end users.
  • Manages ongoing platform maintenance.
  • Develops and provide functional knowledge of system and data to end users.
  • Works with business partners to integrate systems into business processes, may assist with user procedures and training materials.
  • Ensure continued business sponsorship, engagement, and commitment.
  • Manages financials for platform
  • Specifies tests for system and user acceptance testing based on requirement and design specifications, executes testing, resolves defects.
  • Regularly provides guidance and training to business stakeholders.
  • Communication planning, information distribution, performance reporting, and administrative closure.
  • Ensure proper validation documentation is created for all projects, as appropriate (i.e. company's  System Compliance Methodology (MSCM)).
  • Provide detailed functional knowledge and maintain insight to current industry best practices and how they can be applied to company.
  • Ensure that company's systems and the information on them are protected in accordance with company's Information Protection Policies and Standards, as well as best Information Protection practices.
  • Ensure compliance to all internal policies and external regulations applicable to IT, including IT security policies, as well as medical FDA regulations and SOX requirements.

Must Haves

  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

Nice to Haves

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Experience with scoping and estimating IT project costs and timelines for projects of varying complexity, low to high.
  • Experience with managing projects and tracking project deliverables
  • Experience managing customer relationships and managing customer expectations.
  • Experience analyzing business processes and converting to requirements specifications, defining test cases and developing test scripts
  • Problem Solving; ability to recommend adjustments or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness.
  • Experience participating in system implementations either in a functional role (Business Analyst) or another technical role.
  • Ability to interface with technical teams and business stakeholders at multiple org levels
  • Strong facilitation, influencing, organizing, and presentation skills
  • Deals well with uncertainty/ambiguity and possess ability to research, analyze and document problems (system/process)
  • Proven ability to achieve results through building partnerships and influence skills
  • Ability to lead & facilitate change in a complex environment
  • Team player, positive and self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
