Job Description:

  • We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Finance technical lead to support the PeopleSoft 9.2 application upgrade project and good understanding of new features delivered in PS 9.2.
  • Expertise on PeopleSoft Finance modules - Contracts, Billing, Project Costing, Accounts Receivables and General Ledger.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Technical lead consultant for PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade project at Onshore
  • Good understanding of out of the box PeopleSoft Finance 9.2 modules - Contracts, Billing, Project Costing, Accounts Receivables and General Ledger
  • Expertise on new functionality of PS 9.2 features and work with team to remove the customizations
  • Evaluate the existing customizations, leverage PeopleSoft 9.2 improved functionality streamlining business process and automations
  • Provide the estimation for technical changes/customizations
  • Perform technical build, design, development, and unit testing
  • Peer code reviews
  • Provide support for system integration, user acceptance and regression testing
  • Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering PeopleSoft solutions
  • Interact with project teams on day-to-day basis for requirement clarification, product feature consultations and own the technical delivery and architecture
  • Provide operational production support for PS Financials
  • Coordinate with Onshore and Offshore development teams for project delivery

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as PeopleSoft Technical consultant in large projects
  • Work on at least 2 PeopleSoft 9.2 Financial upgrades or more
  • 5+ years of PeopleSoft development experience in PeopleSoft applications, PeopleSoft 9.2 and 8.5x tools or higher (Application Engine, PeopleCode, Component Interface, File Layout, Integration broker)
  • 5+ years of experience in modifying and customizing the existing functionalities as per the business requirements
  • 2+ years of providing peer review on design, development, documentation, and other efforts, and able to train and mentor others
  • Experience in integrating with other 3rd party applications
  • 5+ years of PeopleSoft ERP implementation experience with some of the following modules: Contract, Billing, AR, Project Costing and General Ledger
  • Experience in conducting design sessions with business process owners to meet business requirements with minimal customizations
  • Good understanding of fluid user interface, work center, dashboard, activity guides, data migration workbench etc.
  • Debug and optimize SQL statements within Query, SQR, and Application Engine
  • Should be familiar with Agile project methodology and delivery
  • Familiar with Onshore-Offshore model
  • Hands on experience in Oracle 12c
  • Knowledge of PHIRE tool (related to Release management) will be added advantage
  • Understanding of credit card integration in AR module

Team and Team size:

  • 1 delivery managers, 2 leads, 1 BA, 20+ developers/QA

Working Time:

  • 8 - 4.30 PM CST
