Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • The Scrum Master would be part for one of our broker platforms with a team of 7 dev/3 QE/3 Ops members.
  • This is an existing application which primarily supports brokers and field sales agents.
  • This is a self servicing portal which has many different tools and functionalities that the agent can use.

Ideal Background:

  • Preferably strong Scrum Master and/or Solutions Analyst skills

Roles and Responsibilities -

  • Assesses characteristics of the team and determine which practices will benefit them the most
  • Identifies which practices will work best based on what team is doing and considers how to reduce dependencies between teams
  • Considers how to customize best practices based on constraints
  • Actively communicates how to comply with standards
  • Adapt methodologies to fit project or program
  • Collaborates with team to understand where challenges are
  • Develop multiple project/programs plans that include milestones, tasks and resource assignments
  • Interprets metrics and recommends appropriate actions
  • Pro-actively identifies options and/or additional opportunities or actions needed to meet objectives
  • Tailors communication to audience, conveying appropriate sense of urgency and relevant information
  • Prepares quality estimation with appropriate assumptions
  • Identifies and assesses the impact of financial decisions
  • Analyzes the budget reports and interprets data including identification of both favorable and unfavorable variances
  • Helps to evaluate other's forecasts and challenges the information being given

Working Time:

  • Usually 9 AM - 5 PM but might change depending on work priorities.
