Description

  • Liaison between Business Subject Matter Experts, Business Analysts, Engineering team and Project Management groups
  • Gather requirements, analyze and design solutions as part of software development life cycle
  • Translate business needs into actionable documentation/specifications, including use case scenarios, models and conceptual design diagrams to support iterative development
  • Evaluate and present solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution
  • Define, document and coordinate the functional system specifications
  • Analyze and revise existing functional and technical documentation
  • Plan and manage assignments of varying scope
  • Participate in developer led code reviews & documentation
  • Participate in QA led test prep and planning activities, as well as defect triage to ensure projects are on track.
  • Work with the Intake team to understand scope of new projects and identify preliminary impacts for estimation.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience preferred but not required in Systems Analysis or IT Development
  • Experience preferred but not required in translating business requirements into a detailed system specification
  • Experience preferred but not required in mapping data from web services & database to user interface
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
  • Relational Database experience preferred but not required
  • Experience preferred but not required with Agile/Scrum

Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • RIPTiDE is a rapid product delivery team.
  • Our mission is to rapidly deliver high business value functionality to our advocates so that they can better serve our end members.
  • On inception the team was also known as Advocate4Me however, as we now work on functionality that is broader than A4Me we go by the program name of RIPTiDE.

Team and Team size:

  • This role is a combined role – Systems Analyst and Scrum Master. System Analysis is 75% + of the role so is critical to have these skills.
  • They will be part of a scrum team that consists of 4 to 5 developers, 2 SDETs, 1 Systems Analyst/Scrum Master and 1 Product Owner.

Software tools/skills:

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written, strong analytical skills and detail oriented, ability to plan and organize the team as well as documentation, team player, accountable.

Working Time:

  • Office hours vary slightly but are typically between 7am - 5pm.

Interview Process:

  • Round 1: MS Teams Video Call (behavioral interview)
  • Round 2: MS Teams Video Call (technical)
  • Round 3: MS Teams Video Call or On Site (technical, culture fit) if needed
