  • Would work with someone with SOLID 2-3 years’ experience.

  • Translating Business/Product Requirements into functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Breaking functional/non-functional requirements into technical requirements.
  • Based on investigations with technical teams, the BA clearly communicates to stakeholders what the system can and cannot support when presented with a business / product feature.
  • Works collaboratively and participates in planning sessions with Product Manager, UX Designer and Technical Leads to discover what value can be delivered iteratively.
  • Consistently produces high quality business analysis deliverables on time for initiatives (e.g. root cause analysis of problems, data flow, cross functional analysis/dependencies and risks).
  • Identifying current (as-is) process as well as future/proposed process.
  • Leading discussions for detailed requirements in Sprint Planning and Product Features.
  • Helping the teamwork at a faster pace by making decisions based on accurate and well-understood data or business logic.
  • Being available to internal and external teams to provide context and direction on processes and detailed requirements.
  • Plans other BA's activities when working in a lead capacity on a program.
Technical Responsibilities
  • Understanding of REST services that return JSON responses.
  • Understanding of event based systems (Kafka Preferred, JMS / MQ acceptable)
  • Subject matter expert for multiple applications within the domain.
  • Understanding of contract dependencies between applications.
  • Ability to define JSON contracts.
  • Understanding of Micro Services Architecture.
Documentation Responsibilities
  • Process Documentation (As-is & Future State).
  • Requirement Documentation (Functional & Non-Functional Requirements, Risks, Dependencies, & Assumptions).
  • Putting together meaningful diagrams to facilitate communication (e.g. use case, sequence diagram) for the team.
  • Ensure documentations are up to date with recent changes to be leveraged by the team to identify current state.
