Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Supporting a group of scrum teams and BAs.
  • Currently we do not have enough BA resources to provide the User Stories and work items for the dev teams.
  • These roles would partner with our business reps to assess our web technologies and create user stories.
  • They would be asked to attend Stand Up meetings and Refinement sessions, per the Agile methodology.

Ideal Background:

  • Prior User Story authoring experience (1+ years)

Team and Team size:

  • Three scrum teams of developers, QAs, scrum masters, RTE and BAs.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Write user stories
  • Assess web technologies with teammate and business input
  • Attend daily standups and ad-hoc refinement sessions

Skills/attributes Required

  • Prior User Story authoring experience (1+ years)

Skills/attributes Preferred

  • Prior Systems/Business Analyst experience (1+ years)
  • Prior experience with web applications (1+ years)
  • Prior healthcare experience (1+ years)

Working Time:

  • Traditional 8-5, 40 hour week.

Interview Process:

  • a. How many rounds? 1 interview only with the candidate, probably 30 minutes. I would primarily work through the vendor partners to ensure the candidates are appropriately placed towards a proper set of skills/responsibilities.
  • b. Video vs. phone? Video, if possible.
  • c. How technical will the interviews be? Minimal technical questions. More around agile process and engagement with business.
    d. When do you anticipate starting the interview process? I would like to get interviews done Oct 25-29, but may look to accommodate the first week of November if necessary.
