POSITION DESCRIPITON :

  • Plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of complex data issues to be solved with automated systems and visualized to convey a story. Analyzes information and/or a variety of other business and technical problems to formulate and develop new and modified information processing systems and processes. Is recognized as the data expert of the functional area represented.
  • Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems, process, and procedures, which are cost effective and meet user requirements.
  • Plans and executes unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems.
  • May provide consultation to users around automated systems and data structures and foundational dashboard metrics. Requires knowledge of analytic tools, SQL or other type of data query languages, computer system capabilities, business processes and workflow.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive decisions, develop and enhance processes to manage, track and maintain attributes related to labor, spend, portfolio and operations. Collaborate with other teams and work groups to ensure the process is simple and incorporated into other processes and teams.
  • Functional expert independently working closely with stakeholders, application owners, and end users to develop an understanding of how our applications are used by the businesses being supported.
  • Influence a productive and positive relationship with business sponsors and end users to maximize benefits. Constantly seek ways to increase efficiency in the delivery of services, while maximizing our value to the business.
  • Identifying and sourcing data
  • Cleaning and preparing data for analysis
  • Analyzing data for patterns and trends
  • Visualizing data to make it easier to understand
  • Presenting data in such a way that it tells a compelling story
  • Provides direction, expertise, and in-depth knowledge to provide recommendations to deliver outcomes aligned to strategic direction and/or completion of projects. May influence, lead, and provide data analysis work direction to complete projects or goals.
  • May be responsible for multiple complex projects or processes within job area.
  • Lead communications from ITBPM to ensure stakeholders are informed of various activities and governance.
  • Translate application master data requirements and needs into processes, templates, quick reference guides and SOPs.
  • Identify and implement concepts, techniques, and standards that support the strategic objectives of the application lifecycle management team.
  • Provide functional knowledge, research, and maintain insight into current industry best practices and how they can be applied to Company's.
  • Provide standard reporting on requests and workload to track progress and measure performance through scorecards.
  • Ensure proper validation documentation is created for all projects (i.e. company's  System Validation Methodology (MSCM)).
  • Provide detailed functional knowledge and maintain insight to current industry best practices and how they can be applied to company.
  • Ensure that company's systems and the information on them are protected in accordance with company's Information Protection Policies and Standards, as well as best Information Protection practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE
EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of IT experience with a Master's Degree

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • MS PowerBI or experience in another similar dashboard analytics tool
  • Comprehensive understanding of complex software and information technology solutions and ability to apply to client needs.
  • Solid understanding of database structures, tables, and relationships.
  • Experience in the analysis of business processes, use of data, reporting and voice of customer.
  • Experience with process development and improvement and the ability to provide/review multiple solutions and selection of the best solution with the highest process improvement impact.
  • Experience in business process definition, requirements definition and technology solution research.
  • Knowledge and experience in the medical device industry.
  • Goal oriented, task driven decision-making with a keen sense of accountability. Focused on improving productivity, profitability, and business processes, delivering solutions on time and within budget.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain cross function relationships with internal and external partners and lead small projects or project requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team work skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Business focused, boundary less leader with global scope and ability to translate business requirements into IT deliverables.
  • Strong MSVM (Company's  System Validation Methodology) process and project management skills as well as the ability to direct multiple large project teams.
  • Ability to translate business process or concepts into technical requirements (and vice versa).
  • Analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Prioritization skills.
  • Requirements definition and design specification.
  • Experience in finance, data analytics and reporting.
