Reporting to the Senior Online Marketing Manager, the eCommerce Catalog and Data Manager will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and development of the organization’s catalog attributes, assets, and tools. This position will act as the administrator/manager of Product Information and Experience Management (PIM/PXM) databases, Product Syndication services, and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems. Responsibilities will also include developing and maintaining training, software and reporting to applicable parties. The eCommerce Catalog and Data Manager will collaborate with product management, sales, senior management, and others to maintain catalog information and update partner websites with product data.


  • Responsible for managing PIM/PXM and DAM platforms to collect, normalize and automate content from product sources out to applicable sources, websites, and tools.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to maintain the catalog and other product tools so that they can be published across multiple web locations.
  • Maintain, manage and update syndication partner databases; collaborating with Channel Sales, Retail Sales, Sales Operations and others to support their strategic and business goals.
  • Be the primary point of contact and manager of PIM /DAM software, product databases, and syndication services to ensure full operating capacity.
  • Manage and update catalog data used for internal and third-party tools.
  • Work closely with Marketing Project Manager and Product Managers to execute monthly product launch process. Assist team as necessary.
  • Create and maintain training documentation and train colleagues as needed.
  • Audit and correct  branded content across the internet, including but not limited to inaccurate product details and branded assets.
  • Regularly deliver and communicate project status and progression of deliverables to management, project owners, and other stakeholders. Hold business review meetings as necessary and as requested with partners and vendors.
  • Perform regular audits of org's .com to ensure content is accurate and relevant.
  • Work diplomatically and effectively across cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of four years’ experience working with product databases.
  • If no bachelor’s degree, high school diploma and five years of relevant experience can be substituted.
  • Proven working knowledge of database management systems and CMS software applications.
  • Proficient in latest versions of Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Word with strong command of Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and Salesforce CRM software.
  • Product publishing knowledge.
  • Experience with web-based project collaborations tools.
  • Excels in professional communication between multiple internal and external customers.
  • Professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills that produce desired results.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting information, such as reports, general correspondence and policy guidelines, with the ability to share with others as needed.
  • Ability to use a computer and standard business equipment, and other work-related software with minimal instruction.
  • Excellent active listening, decision-making, team building and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work and prioritize independently with the capacity to collaborate with others.

    • Coding experience a plus- this role is on a team with two web developers that do the heavy lifting, this role could always defer the difficult situations to them, but having an understanding for this role to troubleshoot in their own would be helpful.
      • Looking for candidates who are comfortable with HTML and CSS; looking for someone who can hit the ground running with these skills, minimal training
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. In this role: troubleshooting product information on various web portals for channel partners for accuracy, manage around 700 products
    • SEO experience as it is not relevant to the role
    • Look for candidates with a Business Analyst background
    • Would like to see candidates with more 4+ years’ experience in working with product databases
    • Would like to see candidates with experience in conditional logic
