The Sr Capability / Product Manager is responsible for managing virtual desktop capabilities and products, such as Citrix and VDI. These capabilities reside within the Connect, End User Technology portfolio. The Senior Product Manager will be accountable for managing these capabilities and products across the lifecycle.  They will identify, define, analyze, prioritize, and refine requirements, user stories across multiple teams, and will communicate them to the Technology Delivery Teams. They will need to prioritize trade-offs, clarify requirements, user needs and accept user stories throughout the delivery process. They will work directly with various internal and external stakeholders, including senior staff and department managers, as well as with the delivery teams to ensure successful translation of requirements and user needs into high-quality solutions to be deployed across the enterprise.
Job Responsibilities: 
•    Drives the capability / product vision, strategy, priority, and roadmap. Partners with the Capability / Product Director to inform broader strategies and roadmaps across Connect. 
•    Engages appropriate enterprise-wide stakeholders to enable awareness and alignment.
•    Understands and leverages a Persona framework to identify needs, characteristics, patterns, behaviors to udnerstand end user / internal customer needs.
•    Builds, grooms and prioritizes the capability / product backlog(s). Creates and groom short, medium and long-term roadmaps and get internal agreement with key customers and stakeholders. 
•    Collaborates with the Technology Delivery Teams to run successful Release Planning and Sprint Planning sessions, as well as Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives. 
•    Produces features that provide business value, and are sized and defined for Sprint planning, and collaborate with engineers, development and operations teams to drive delivery, operations and support.
•    Establishes business value/outcome measures and metrics to measure outcomes after release; monitors and reports on progress. 
•    Work with engineering teams to continuously improve product management and delivery processes. 
•    Market, document and demonstrate features and functionality to End Users to address their use cases and needs.
•    Advocate and drive organizational change management activities to promote adoption of capabilities.
•    B.S. or B.A. in a related field
•    3 years experience in technology / technical related product management.
•    Direct hands on experience with writing features, grooming capability / product backlogs and coordinating/prioritizing requirements in a fast paced, ever changing environment. 
•    Strong knowledge of Agile development practices (especially Scrum or Kanban) methodologies and tools. 
•    3 years working with delivery, product teams leveraging the Agile methodology.
•    3 years driving customer engagement to inform a product strategy, roadmap and priorities. 
•    Outstanding technical and non-technical communication skills. 
•    Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues and influence decision making at all levels of the organization without formal reporting structure authority. 
•    Executive presence and adaptive formal and informal communication.
•    2+ years of product management experience with managing virtual desktop, workspace capabilities and technologies.
•    Experience with specific virtual technologies (ex, Citrix, VDI) 
•    Experience with managing product budgets and financials (business cases, financing modeling…).
