Description:

  • This position would be in support of IT shop floor software applications. 
  • The IT shop floor systems team supports applications for environmental monitoring, statistical process control, shop floor data collection, training media distribution and various custom software applications. 
  • The focus of the position is for leading and supporting site deployments. 
  • Works with business and IT to support shop floor solutions that add business value. 
  • The role is to provide application support for business users as well as providing technical expertise to ongoing implementation activities. 
  • Supports department level initiatives or larger scope initiatives.
  • May assist in business relationship management, business strategy, planning and portfolio/demand management

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deployment Projects: Direct interaction with business for scoping, scheduling, build, procurement, deployment and implementation activities for system deployment.
  • To lead and manage site deployment activities for multiple site deployment projects.
  • Continuous improvement of the deployment playbook and project tools used.
  • Project management
  • Application Engineering Support: Assist business users on hardware/software solutions to test or measurement challenges
  • User Training Support: Perform training sessions with system users on system functions
  • Knowledge Document Support: Development of system support documentation and user knowledge documents.
  • Assist and Guide business with installation qualification activities
  • Quality System Compliance

Education:

  • BS Degree – 16+
  • Engineering: Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering

Experience                         

  • 5+ Years
  • Manufacturing Shop Floor Experience, Quality Systems, Equipment Deployment, Validation, Project Management, Process Controls
