Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • The position is required to enhance our IT operations support to meet the digital support needs of the department.
  • This resource will be working closely with business, development and government programs IT teams.
  • Currently we dont have expertise within the team for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), understanding web applications related issues.
  • This resource is expected to fill in that gap

Team and Team size:

  • Team is mix of SOW workers, contractors and employees supporting digital services applications.
  • These are java web applications mostly running on VMs and some services running in openShift and Kubernetes as well.
  • These apps use oracle as backend database.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Understanding application architecture Be able to understand browser errors, js errors
  • Troubleshoot production issues Be able to use different monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace etc. to deep dive production issues Identify root cause and champion restoration of production issues
  • Act as an advocate building production relationships between business customers and IT Be able to adapt both written and oral communications to a variety of different audiences

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience supporting distributed web applications
  • 4+ years of technical applications support preferably in a hosted services environment
  • 2+ years of experience with UNIX based operating systems
  • Experience with web application development using JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of REACT and Node.js frameworks.
  • Experience using RESTful APIs and asynchronous JS.
  • Experience with browser-based debugging
  • Strong expertise in HTTPS, JSON, DHTML, JavaScript, XML, SAML, TCPIP, DNS, Firewalls, network diagnostic tools
  • Strong expertise in Splunk and Dynatrace Strong troubleshooting and analysis skills ITIL experience including incident, change and problem management
  • Technical leadership, with a track record of driving shortened issue restoration and problem resolution over time
  • Ability to anticipate and drive change Possess strong technical aptitude, and ability to quickly learn/adopt new processes and technologies
  • Ability to adapt both written and oral communications to a variety of different audiences
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks
  • Ability to act as an advocate building production relationships between business customers and IT

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of healthcare, healthcare payer services, related terminology, and process flows Previous experience with Adobe
  • Experience Manger (AEM) Knowledge of data integration tools
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux and Shell Scripting
  • Experience with cloud technologies
  • Experience with automation tools (Jenkins, Chef, Ansible)
  • Knowledge of GitHub or any other source code control systems
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow, or similar tool
  • Experience with WebSphere
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodology

Working Time:

  • 9 am - 5 pm

  • a. How many rounds? 2
  • b. Video vs. phone? phone and video
  • c. How technical will the interviews be? This is technical position and will be more technical interview in addition to understanding the communication skills.
