  • Rapid Diagnostics is part of Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions.
  • The Implementation Specialist is remote or located in VA, is responsible for working with our customers to install, connect and maintain the RALS software system. 


  • Perform necessary maintenance, upgrades, server migrations, installation or replacement of any proprietary system.
  • Work with customers to connect instruments via the sites internal network to RALS software systems.
  • Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions
  • Responsible for mandatory weekly time tracking/recording of specific activities such as project work, training, etc. to ensure financial & business compliance
  • Some afterhours and weekend work is required.

  • Ability to manage and track multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills, oral and written.  
  • The ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
  • Ability to work with others in a professional manner while attempting to achieve a common goal.


  • Associate degree in a computer related field or A+ Certification or minimum of 1 year in a technical support role is required.
  • Medical technology experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Hospital Point of Care software methodologies preferred.
  • Experience in successful cross functional collaboration
  • Knowledge of project management practices
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects and meet deadlines
  • The ability to learn, process and apply technical knowledge. To analyze, reason and to evaluate and solve technical issues.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge and experience with troubleshooting network connectivity using TCP/IP utilities and their functions. Such as Ping, Ipconfig, and Tracert.
  • Experience with Microsoft products including Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise, Windows 2008\2012\2016 Server and Microsoft SQL 2008/2014.
  • Basic understanding of Virtual Systems both Hyper-V and VMware.
  • Working knowledge of excel spreadsheets and basic excel functions
  • Experience with VPN and remote access including various software VPN connections, Remote Desktop and Secure LinkFamiliarity with serial communication.
