Description:

  • This position is responsible for implementing Care Application Security Engineering initiatives to enable and drive application security through automation, engagement and evaluation.
  • This position will focus on the application of engineering principles to the development of application security tools and processes, combined with a security-focused approach to application development.
  • This role will be responsible for driving a customer-centric focus in order to create processes, collateral, and tools that simplify and automate application security practices.

Ideal Background:

  • Healthcare Background is preferred but not required.
  • Required experience:
    • Application security testing, coding, API, SAST, DAST, CICD tools, Agile, OWASP, SANS.

Experience:

  • Strong Integrity, raises concerns when issues are identified.

Top Requirements:

  • Self Starter/managed, Strong Team player in a remote environment, Clearly able to understand and explain technical concepts and analysis implications to development teammates.
  • Able to analyze code manually for security weaknesses.
  • Solid understanding of application and infrastructure, architecture, and design.
  • Proven interpersonal communications and presentation skills.

Team and Team size:

  •  This team is a highly diverse security team with experience across all domains supporting security demands in the care delivery space.
  • 1 person currently focus on application security and works with development teams across the organization.
