Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • WVIES Contract - RAPIDS M&O Project. The project is to provide production support and develop enhancements for the WV Integrated Eligibility application.

Ideal Background:

  • Strong Java language skills
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience working with SOAP Web services
  • Experience working with Integrated Eligibility systems

Team and Team size:

  • 1 Lead with 3 developers. Java, Corticon, Oracle SOA Suite, Weblogic, SQL

Top Responsibilities:

  • 20% of time developing new enhancements
  • 50% of time for support, maintenance and monitoring
  • 30% of time to develop fixes for existing production incidents

Skills/attributes Required

  • Six (6) years of system analysis and programming experience on large scale systems, including working directly with customers to define their needs and product outputs satisfying those needs in a pre-determined time frame;
  • Four (4) years of experience designing, documenting, and communicating technical architecture for Java enterprise application development projects;
  • Four (4) years of experience architecting and designing scalable, robust, and secure browser-based enterprise applications to support over 2,000 users;
  • Two (2) years of experience designing architecture and solutions that includes Web Services, XML, SOAP, object persistence methodologies and application integration;
  • Two (2) years of experience developing web-based applications in an integration environment such as Oracle SOA, Corticon, and Weblogic;
  • Two (2) years of experience integrating Enterprise Information Portals and systems Integration;
  • Three (3) years of experience working with database like DB2 v8, Oracle 12c;

Skills/attributes Preferred

  • Experience working with Integrated Eligibility systems.
  • Experience upgrading from Java 1.7 to Java 1.8
