Horizontal Talent is looking for a Senior Product Manager who is continuously adapting and excited to work on products and technologies to help ensure that our solutions meet the business needs of our customers and stakeholders in key markets around the world. We’re looking for someone to make an immediate impact by owning our website that will support our business as we continue to grow. Be a part of the forefront of our innovation which includes implementing AI search and match into our candidate account and job board experience to building a platform that allows our hiring managers to search for available talent. The ideal candidate for this role will define these opportunities to provide valuable improvements to our existing site, but also promote innovative thinking on the future technical roadmap.  

In this role you’ll help our Talent organization enable their continued growth through digital transformation. You’ll be part of the core product team that determines the technology platform and roadmap for the Staffing business that includes our website and additional technology solutions that will continue to enable the company’s innovation and growth. 


  • Own the product strategy and define the product roadmap to create the best experience across the spectrum of web and mobile 
  • Manage multiple product roadmaps, prioritization and backlogs, while working closely with key business stakeholders and customers 
  • Write comprehensive product epics, define user story intent and achievable acceptance criteria leveraging Jira/Confluence toolset 
  • Develop business requirements and advocate for investment as needed, which includes partnering with Marketing for go to market strategy and feature release milestones 
  • Participate in identifying solutions for business problems while providing both strategic guidance and detailed documentation on project scope, business requirements, functional requirements and pilot/tests plans 
  • Develop and execute a human centered product roadmap to enhance existing, or develop new, user experiences 
  • Balance the needs around reliability, security and scalability with building new features on the website 
  • Work with engineering team to ensure a health delivery – including capabilities, resilience and growth 
  • Conduct and participate in user testing solutions with UX teams 
  • Use qualitative and quantitative user research to define KPI’s and prioritize roadmap 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, workflows, and business processes 
  • Understand of the staffing industry space and the evolving market dynamics 
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, sprint demos, retrospectives and other related inter-team meetings. 


  • 6+ years of product management experience, with a track record of owning and driving features that delight customers, global recruitment or staffing experience is ideal/is a plus 
  • 6+ years of practical experience working in an Agile development environment with engineering and product teams 
  • A technical background of integrating with other services such as, HR Technologies and APIs 
  • Prior success leading and collaborating with cross-functional product teams within an Agile environment 
  • Proven ability to create awareness of product strategy and generate excitement for future business opportunities for senior leadership audiences through strong communication 
  • Strong collaborator with a problem-solving, design-thinking and customer-centric mind-set 
  • Serve as a thought leader for both external and internal audiences with an ability to negotiate 
  • Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies 
  • Hands-on experience with analytics and tracking web applications (i.e. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) 
  • Understanding of content management systems (i.e. Sitecore) 
  • Comfortable navigating complexity and conflict; remaining optimistic in the face of challenges and seeking out best practices from others 
  • Establishes collaborative relationships to achieve objectives while maintaining a positive and flexible attitude. 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
  • Treats people with respect and upholds organizational values 
  • Displays empathy and accepts diverse viewpoints
