Description:

  • UX/UI Designer to design user experience and interface for clinical systems.

Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • UX/UI for building a new doctors' and nurses' user interface to Electronic Medical Records and other clinical systems applications.
  • Doctors and nurses are frustrated with and spend too much time in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and other clinical systems.
  • They also find it difficult to transition from one EMR system to another.

Ideal Background:

  • Visual Design
  • UX Design
  • healthcare background (optional)
  • 4Microsoft Dynamics/Power Apps UI design

Experience:

  • Speed and quality of work. Experience in Microsoft Dynamics/Power Apps UI Design.

Day to Day:

  • Wireframes in InVision.
  • Work with Business Analysts to understand requirements.
  • Review current system screens and design similar screens using modern design/UX principles.
  • Use sketch or equivalent to design wireframes and UI.

Top Requirements:

  • Visual Designer or graphic design background
  • User Experience (knowledge of Human-Centered Design thinking)
  • Speed and quality of work. 4) Ability to rapidly design from low-high fidelity prototypes / mockups.
  • Understanding of various code languages and how front-end style sheets work.
  • Healthcare background (optional)

Team and Team size:

  • 1 UX/UI person on a team of about 10 developers and analysts.

Software tools/skills:

  • InVision, Sketch

Skills/attributes:

  • Graphic/UI Design

Interview Process:

  • a. How many rounds? 2
  • b. Video vs. phone? video
  • c. How technical will the interviews be? Low end. Understanding design and Sketch/InVision
