Role overview:
· Lead course development projects by assessing and communicating project needs and constraints (timelines, resources, costs, etc.). Influences others (peers, department heads, and other businesses) to complete tasks to meet project target dates. 
· Performs Training Needs Assessments to determine appropriate solution to meet business needs. 
· Uses sound Instructional Design theory to create storyboards, scripts, course content (including traditional e-Learning courseware, software simulations and blended learning), job aides, learner guides, and student directions. 
· Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts to design courses for effectiveness. Ensures high quality content and design for comprehension and retention. Ensures objectives are clear and promote solid course design. 
· Development of training effectiveness measures 
· Evaluates the effectiveness of courses and continuously improves methods to increase effectiveness. Provide coaching to peers and instructors to ensure continuous improvement. 
· Provide business analysis by monitoring trends in the business and recommending solutions to help meet business training objectives. 
· Proactively identifies problems, drives to root causes, and develops effective solutions to complex problems. 
· Identifies and Implements processes that increase efficiency and decrease development time without sacrificing effectiveness. 
· Provide guidance, training, and coaching to peers on use of course development methodologies, best practices, collaborative interaction, software tool recommendations and usage.
