General Information:-

Instructional Designer, CW
  • The Instructional Designer will be responsible for the development, design, and maintenance of growing demand for new learning programs within Clients Transportation and Electronics Business Group.
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
  • Project management. Leading intake of projects and reviews with SME
  • Producing engaging, industry-leading learning modules and activities:
  • Working with agency partners in creating learning modules,
  • Developing module storyboards for content relevance and flow
  • Aligning content to confirm workability with respect to adult learning principles, considering Client brand, copyright, and legal and regulatory requirements
  • Designing navigation relevant to user experience needs
  • Coordinating voiceover, sub-titles, and video production (use of artist, built-in audio, or localized language audio capabilities)
  • Script creation, including writing and editing, and producing audio files
  • Coordinate with Learning Management System administrators for content management, course uploads and testing where appropriate
  • Proofing all aspects of learning experiences, working closely with subject matter experts (SME) to implement needed changes
  • Supporting localization of modules from translation to completion (coordinate with country and area SME)
Your Skills and Expertise
  • Minimum of two years of experience in instructional design
  • Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and/or Articulate 360
  • Strong project management and coordination skills – attention to detail
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of implementing adult learning principles and effective learning techniques
  • Proficiency in LMS systems and requirements for adherence to industry standards for SCORM/ xAPI, etc.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in instructional design
  • Experience with managing complex projects and/or managing agency relationships
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and working virtually
