Job Description

  • Assembling large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements.
  • Identifying, designing and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.
  • Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using SSIS and SQL technologies.
  • Building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and customer acquisition.
  • Working with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to support their data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues.

Job Functions:

  • Functions will include database architecture, engineering, design, optimization, as well as data modeling,
  • Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) development, storage engineering, data warehousing, and other similar roles.
  • Duties will include design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance, ensuring strict data quality, and performing needs assessments..
  • May design schemas, write SQL or other PowerShell scripting and helps to support development of Analytics and Applications that build on top of data.

  • Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses.

  • Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues.

Educational Experience Requirements:

  • At least 5 years SSIS development experience.
  • At least 5 years SQL Server database experience.
  • At least 5 years PL\SQL development experience.
  • At least 5 years ETL process development experience.
  • Bachelor degree in computer science or business computer management.
  • Experience using scheduling tools, Control-M preferred.
  • Practice Management System data structure experience preferred.
  • General knowledge of Unix, Powershell, Windows, 7zip preferred.
  • Healthcare industry data experience preferred - particularly revenue cycle management/practice management sources.
  • Good communication skills preferred.
