DUTIES:

  • Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing.
  • Design and implement performance and operational enhancements.
  • Design reusable components, frameworks and libraries using patterns that encourage innovation and will enable team velocity.
  • Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and performance improvements.
  • Work very closely with architecture groups and drive solutions.
  • Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases every 2 weeks through Sprints.
  • Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, mentoring, and software engineering best practices to junior software engineers.
  • Work with a team of software engineers for one or more Agile scrum teams assigned to work on the project.
  • Document application design for existing components and future enhancements to ensure that software meets business needs.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software and should be able to clearly articulate the implications of design/architectural decisions, issues and plans to technology leadership.
  • Collaborate on the design with other team members and product owners, both inside and outside the scrum team.
  • Estimate engineering work effort for engineering team and effectively identify and prioritize the high impact tasks.
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure code developed meets coding best practices, unit testing, security, scalability and maintainability guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required.
  • Participate in on-call Dev-Ops support rotation.
  • In addition to the above engineering duties, the person who fills this role will need to have knowledge of Finance functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,
  • General Ledger transactions, Financial tagging of ledger transactions and policy structure, Interest processing, Policy chart-field mapping, Membership Accounting, Pended claims in support of health plan reserving functions, and Payment Request generation.
  • They should also have knowledge of healthcare functions such as adjudication of Institutional and Professional claims, remark code generation for explanation of benefits, provider remittance advice remark code generation, coordination of benefits, claims payments, and claim financial balancing.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and two years of experience involving the following: Java 1.8, J2EE, JSP, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA, JSON, XML, Servlets, MySQL, HTML, Java Server Pages, JavaScript, CSS, Spock Framework, Groovy, REST Web Services, Maven, Jenkins, Log4j, Tomcat Application Server, Rabbit MQ, Kafka, gRPC, Docker, Swagger, Git.
  • OR Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressive post baccalaureate experience involving the following:
  • Java 1.8, J2EE, JSP, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA, JSON, XML, Servlets, MySQL, HTML, Java Server Pages, JavaScript, CSS, Spock Framework, Groovy, REST Web Services, Maven, Jenkins, Log4j, Tomcat Application Server, Rabbit MQ, Kafka, gRPC, Docker, Swagger, Git

Working Time:

  • 9am – 5pm

Interview Process:

  • a. How many rounds? 1 round
  • b. Video vs. phone? Strictly video
  • c. How technical will the interviews be? It will be technical. Candidate will have to do coding test and logic problem.
