POSITION SUMMARY :
  • Visual Merchandising, is responsible for supporting visual merchandising strategies that will evolve merchandising presentations and build efficacy within the product life cycle calendar.  
  • The Graphic Designer supports 2D execution of merchandising strategy for each season/Floorset as defined by the Director, Visual Merchandising.
  •  Additionally the Graphic Designer manages and develops CAD libraries and line sheets that support the presentation objectives for each season and/or product launch.  
  • This role is also responsible for supporting the execution of the company's  floor sets and launches/tests/translations by season.  
  • Manages, executes and drives projects based on the Visual Calendar timelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize and stage seasonal product CADs to be leveraged for the Visual Merchandising team.
  • Includes processing files from the Design team and cross-referencing final assortment sheets for Stores to compile seasonal product libraries.
  • Support any additional CAD support needs, such as third party or tests.
  • Dotted line to bridge workflow to future IWD planogramming software development and maintenance.
  • Work closely with merchant group/visual to understand product collections and sub-brands.
  • Remain current in the latest beauty, fashion, environmental, and interior trends.
  • Constantly conceptualize new and creative in store merchandising ideas to drive out of the box thinking.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Visual Merchandising team to ensure strategic alignment of seasonal concepts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven track record in development/translation of strategic brand concepts a must
  • Experience managing, executing and presenting presentations
  • Understanding of product positioning strategies
  • Demonstrated problem analysis and resolution and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Project management experience including planning and organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task & prioritize
  • BS or BA in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising and/or Design or related area a plus
  • Proficient on a Mac platform, with working knowledge of Adobe CC and up.  Programs also include: Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat , In design, Illustrator, Photoshop.
