Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to help ensure an outstanding user experience in both our customer-facing and internal-facing software products. We make software that celebrates people. Our peer recognition platforms are used by millions of users in countries around the world. 

Education/Experience Required:
•    5+ years of user experience design for web and mobile applications
•    Experienced in both visual design and product user experience
•    A portfolio of your work – either accessible online or submitted electronically – that illustrates your approach to usability

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: You have a desire to create outstanding user experiences. You are a champion of new ideas and an early experimenter with new technologies and design trends. You are open to collaboration and having fun. Also, you have:
•    An understanding of user-centered design and Design Thinking
•    Experience building wireframes and functional prototypes for web and mobile
•    Experience building and working with design libraries
•    Fluency in modern UX design applications, particularly Figma and Sketch
•    An understanding of usability heuristics
•    Familiarity with composing and interpreting agile user stories
•    Understanding of the capabilities and limitations of HTML/CSS/JS
•    Experience leading UX decisions and influencing business and technical teams
•    Understanding of accessibility and internationalization best practices
•    Experience conducting usability testing

Preference will be given to candidates who possess an understanding of design principles and are capable of creating high-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
•    Meet with stakeholders, SMEs, users, and product owners to assess user needs
•    Interpret business needs and translate them into agile user stories
•    Identify design problems in current software and devise elegant solutions
•    Create user flows and task flows
•    Design wireframes and prototypes
•    Iterate rapidly and collect feedback from the Product Team
•    Present your work and explain your design decisions
•    Conduct usability tests
•    Provide UX guidance to development teams
•    Maintain, expand, and adapt the cross-product design system
