Position Summary:

  • The Graphic Designer will create on-brand designs for various Brand Marketing projects, primarily Social Media and Public Relations-related content.
  • They will contribute to idea generation while always designing to the campaign strategy per specific channel and ensuring that end results meet or exceed our brand and quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Designs innovative on-brand assets that drive engagement and build relationships with the Social Customer and Media contacts. Including but not limited to:
    • Daily Social Media graphics across Stories within in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter,
    • Custom Pins for key Pinterest boards
    • Seasonal content updates for Wallpapers, Cover Photo & Profile Pic assets
    • Public Relations print & digital collateral for key media + influencer communications
    • Brand content for Mall Partners Social Media & Web support
    • may also include other projects, as bandwidth requires
  • Conceptualize and design multiple creative solutions
  • Assist in the creation and execution of final designs across responsible channels and assets
  • Partners with strategy, Social team, copywriter and analytics to bring social-related designs to life. Uses brand positioning and content strategy to create an engaging, editorial assets.
  • Collaborates to ensure all designs align closely with and complement the seasonal and overall strategy to support consistent brand positioning.
  • Iterates existing designs from Marketing (stores, CRM & digital) for Social and PR purposes
  • Presents concepts and finalized projects to Social + PR Teams and Strategy leadership
  • Partner with Creative Services to hand-off/release final assets for archive within DAM/server
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Design or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of prior experience in 2D design and illustration with a portfolio dedicated to graphic design elements within the print and digital spaces.
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices for Social Media, and broad Marketing knowledge, with a particular focus on editorial content and/or retail.
  • Strong sense of design, typography and color
  • High level of creativity, conceptualization, execution, and design skills
  • Fundamental experience and/or knowledge of design with photography
  • Highly organized, attentive to detail and able to meet multiple fast-paced deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and project manage key business priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team player and positive, proactive attitude with great interpersonal skills; ability to brief senior leaders, foster relationships with cross-functional teams, and be solid partner and collaborator with immediate team members
  • Ability to think innovatively and creatively and change course if necessary, to achieve desired results
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc), Mac OS and Keynote/PowerPoint
