Tech stack and tools include: Oracle database, Java web environment, React front-end web app, multi-tier client server structure running Tomcat on a Linux server, using GitLab for version control and project/issue management.
 
    Roles & Responsibilities:
•    Understand customer business needs and requirements and bring those requirements to life as web and/or mobile applications.
•    Provide direction for the software engineering team, in written specification form, to ensure that customer expectations are met or exceeded in the deliverables.
•    Lead troubleshooting efforts, resolve issues quickly, and remediate software as needed.
 
    Skills & Abilities:
•    Expertise in PL/SQL Oracle database development.
•    Expertise with SQL queries to aid in validation and troubleshooting.
•    Familiarity with procedural and object-oriented development languages, such as Java.
•    Comfortable both writing test plans and testing applications.
•    Strong communication and multi-tasking skills.
•    Ability to work well with a cross-functional team of varying technical skill-sets, and which will at times include customer business owners and customer technical contacts.
•    Driven, self-motivated individual that takes pride in your work, ownership of your projects, and is accountable for the success of applications.

Education/Experience Required:
•    Minimum 5 years business and technical project management experience.
•    BS/BA in Computer Science or related field, preferred
 
Nice to haves:
•    Postgres experience a plus.
•    AWS experience a plus.
•    Front-end web application experience (React) a plus.
•    Working knowledge of micro-service architecture concepts.
