Position Summary:

  • The Operations Sample Lead is an individual contributor responsible for supporting the execution of thematic product launches on the site through ownership of the end-to-end sample process.
  • They will manage trafficking of all product entering the Direct business through the correct channels, maintain overall product readiness for a theme, as well as a curious mindset to drive process efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a detailed end-to-end sample and content flow across multiple teams to ensure a timely theme launch
  • Responsible for coordination of all sample acquisition and return
  • Traffic and track all samples through appropriate channels for use by multiple teams
  • Maintain an organized and accessible sample room
  • Obtain, organize, and upload attribution with accuracy to set-up and archive product
  • Work with cross functional teams to execute day-to-day product content and attribution changes
  • Monitor theme deadlines and communicate with cross functional teams to stay on top of business updates and prioritize samples through the queue
  • Support implementation of site “floor plan”, serving as the source of truth for product content and readiness on the site
  • Identify, analyze and resolve product-related issues as they arise
  • Create and send comprehensive product readiness reporting to cross functional teams
  • Analyze and seasonally hindsight sample process
  • Serve as the subject matter expert to support the evolution of the sample process by driving efficiencies and enhanced agility
  • Collaborate with manager and maintain close cross-functional partnerships to ensure year-round operational excellence
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of related work experience in trafficking, coordination and/or project management
  • Systems and computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, PC, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with a Content Management system (PIM tool) is a plus
  • A passion for the product and the brand
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to bridge and enhance cross functional working relationships
  • Deadline oriented with excellent organization, project management and time management skills
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables in a in fast-paced work environment
  • Problem solving, decision making & analytical capabilities
  • Ability to safely lift, carry and load/unload large boxes of samples
