  • An experience architect (XA) at U.S. Bank is a professional adept at planning and designing the user experience architecture of our customer-facing interfaces.
  • The XA understands the methods and tools for creating taxonomies, user flow diagrams and screen layouts, and fundamentally understands the methods and concepts related to findability and usability.
  • The ideal candidate is passionate yet patient; confident yet humble.
  • They take initiative to thoroughly understand our customers and the finance industry.
  • They are driven to create findable, usable, world-class experiences.
  • This candidate loves collaboration, and can articulately communicate and clearly translate functional objectives into detailed experience specifications.
  • Sketch - 5 yrs
  • Adobe Creative - 5 yrs
  • InVision - 5 yrs
  • Omnigraffle - 5 yrs
  • Marvel - 5 yrs
  • Bachelors in a design related discipline such as Web Design or a related field of study or 5 years of relevant professional experience - required
  • This contractor will join another experienced XA on the project already, to help with additional features & functionality that has been added to the project
  • So the right candidate will need to come in willing to be a 2nd set of hands, assisting the current lead. Not someone who wants to control the whole team, more of a strong assistant to a very busy XA who is in a lot of meetings. I need a do-er more than a strategist.
  • However, I do not want someone who waits to be told what to do. A self directed, highly motivated and communicative team player...especially in light of being remote full time.
  • I'd love someone with good chops at user flows & wireframing, big picture end to end thinking.
  • I would also love if they could assist our visual designer too, when needed. Sketch & InVision skills needed. Knowledge of working with symbols in Sketch and using a component design library a must.
