Objective of Position
The position would be responsible for training new/ existing internal and supplier personnel in the supply chain processes / knowledge management systems. Provide ongoing training for changes in system and processes. Management of the learning data records for all internal supply chain and external suppliers. And management of learning & development application platforms.

Partner with function leaders to assess current state organizational as well as individual employee development needs
Develop and implement learning strategies and programs that meet business needs.
Ensure alignment of learning & development department with business goals
Manage projects across multiple businesses /suppliers in order to support efforts to establish and improve standard work, management systems, and key business processes
Design and perform training specific to suppliers for the systems/ processes supply chain teams employ
Setup and manage annual calendar of training events throughout the year
Proactively develop yearly internal supply chain training plans, project manage the work to ensure adherence to the plan
Develop / manage process to ensure all training materials are current; maintain / update existing training material on an on-going basis
Manage Starting Point Training Events for new suppliers.
Manage Internal and External Training Impressions metric for supply chain.
Manage and conduct needs analysis for external / internal personal on training needs.
Review training program and conduct need analysis for enhancements to the program – formally complete and make recommendations at annually
Optimize training processes to improve ROI
Design eLearning courses, interactive group training, and other training content
Implementing effective training methods
Championing and marketing training programs to get managerial buy-in as well as employee commitment
Manage and administer learning and development platforms (Latitude Learning / Degreed)
Ensure learning and development content accuracy by conducting annual audits
Skills and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in learning & development, business, human resources, or related field
Experience in training within a business environment
Functional knowledge of how to use virtual tools, provide and perform training
Ability to develop and deliver a concise message to users with various skill sets
Ability to develop professional documents representing product lines to suppliers
Highly organized and able to effectively manage multiple projects/ initiatives within budget / time constraints
Strong analytical skills and understanding of problem solving tools / methods
Knowledge of LEAN continuous improvement principles and the application of appropriate tools to facilitate problem solving and change management is a plus.
