Description:

  • We are looking for an energetic candidate to join our growing world class digital communications team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing content across multiple digital channels, partnering with communicators, engineers and designers from across the enterprise as well as prioritizing channel features to meet the organizations goals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Own the creation, prioritization and delivery of actionable communication channel roadmaps in alignment with product and company needs with a specific focus on delivering a great employee experience
  • Strategic thinking in building new digital experiences that achieve business goals.
  • Review user requirements, ask questions and provide suggestions when needed.
  • Frequently interact with a cross-functional teams including our internal/external/digital/human capital/communications teams, Tech and Corporate Affairs.
  • Coordinate entire process from ideation to implementation and analysis
  • Requirements documentation, user acceptance testing, represent business at daily scrum, etc.
  • Manage day-to-day governance, issues, business partner support, escalations of assigned communication channel(s)
  • Be solutions-oriented when issues and roadblocks arise.
  • Manage and champion optimization and personalization across communication channel(s).
  • Understand content personalization options and direct and guide on execution of personalization strategies
  • Update site content to reflect new content, campaigns, and assets.
  • Analyze, interpret and communicate data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for the assigned communication channel(s)
  • Develop and maintain tagging strategy, in support of information architecture
  • Develop and maintain user training and self-help documentation

This is a complex, distinct and satisfying role that will afford you the opportunity to work across many teams and departments at UnitedHealth Group and its business units. To be successful, youll need to bring creativity, critical thinking and clarity on an everyday basis. Successful candidates will be highly organized, and also demonstrate excellent analytical, and time management skills, and teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude. Project management is a crucial aspect of this position and excellent communication skills are required.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years project management; Experience gathering requirements
  • 2+ year working in Agile environment
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Office 365 product suite (SharePoint, Teams, Yammer)
  • Experience building SharePoint sites and working with SharePoint Online web parts
  • Experience using SharePoint online for intranets a plus
  • Experience working with mobile app technologies a plus
  • Understanding of analytics tools (Adobe, DOMO)
  • Highly organized with acute attention to detail; Ability to recognize errors and inconsistencies in content
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills; Comfortable asking and answering questions
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple work requests and projects
  • Ability to independently prioritize workload
  • High energy and results oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and turn around analysis and provide answers to business partners quickly
