Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • OT DataHub Platform Operations and Support.
  • The vision of the OT DataHub (OTDH) is to be a strategic data repository for Technology operational and financial data with improved stability and performance, reusable components, customized data collection solutions, and marketplace capabilities.

Ideal Background:

  • Experienced in in all phases of Software Development Lifecycle
  • Security Patterns and Principles
  • Data Processing Solution Design and Implementations - ETL/Streaming (4+ years experience) API Design (4+ years experience)

Experience:

  • Power BI security management (Row level and attribute level security) - 2yrs
  • Data Analytics and Architecture - 4yrs
  • Database Administration - 2yrs

Top Requirements:

  • Power BI Report & Dashboard Development - 4 yrs
  • Power BI workspace and permission management - 2yrs
  • SQL Development and Optimization - 4yrs

Team and Team size:

  • 1 Product Owner, 1 Scrum Master, 1 Business Analyst, 2 Senior Software Engineers, 1 Mid-level Software Engineer.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Develop various dashboards/reports in Power BI, create actionable insights and drive better decisions and performance to help the business achieve its business objectives
  • Generate adhoc report in excel power pivot and shared them through power BI
  • Power BI creating app and publish
  • Power BI security management (Row level and attribute level security)
  • Managing Power BI workspace and permissions
  • Establish a deep understanding of the business and collaborate with Business SMEs to shape the reporting solutions provided
  • Develop automated reporting solutions as needed
  • Support operational analytics, process improvement data deep dive,
  • identify and execute on new opportunities for increases in efficiencies and performance
  • Develop creative analytic solutions to measure business performance; identifies
  • / quantifies drivers, risks and opportunities and defines solutions to mitigate risks and leverage opportunities
  • systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; Collaborating on solutions to those identified problem areas and following the software development lifecycle
  • Analyzes, develops, and implements application enhancements for end users.
  • Supports existing applications including developing fixes as necessary and providing support for complex issues
  • Creates and helps maintain technical and end-user documentation for new and existing solutions

Skills/attributes Required

  • Bachelors degree in a related technical /Information Technology field
  • 6+ years of work experience in Information Technology
  • 6+ years of experience utilizing SQL
  • 6+ years of systems design and applications development experience
  • Experience with Any ETL Tool will be good to have
  • Worked in an Agile Environment.
  • Solid technical background in SQL with extensive knowledge in design, development, testing, and maintaining data

Working Time:

  • 8am-5pm EST

Interview Process:

  • How many rounds? 2
  • Video, phone, or in person? Video (preferred) or Phone (if video is not possible)
  • How technical will the interviews be? Second round will be moderately technical
