General Description:

  • Position in professional level technical work in support of the development of company products, tools, platforms and services, typically for an external customer or end user.
  • Operates within established methodologies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Applies knowledge of principles and techniques to solve technical problems.
  • Works closely with other functions to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.

Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • This requisition is opened to fill a SDET/QE position within Care Services- Institutional Product.
  • This team is responsible for different capabilities and features under Institutional Clinical investment.

Job Scope and Guidelines

  • Predicts emerging customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them.

  • Directs cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to/implement product strategy/vision
  • Align product lifecycle with product strategy/vision
  • Define product and technical roadmaps/lifecycles and program goals/strategies based on market and customer needs
  • Apply established business strategy/direction, as appropriate
  • Perform market analysis and identify business and technical trends
  • Define customer needs
  • Evaluates and drive new products
  • Perform gap analysis between current product features and target product features
  • Define product requirements (functional and non-functional) to align with and support business strategy/direction and product strategy/vision
  • Map customer/business/product needs and requirements to technical solutions (e.g., business requirements traceability matrix)
  • Identify technical trends and solutions options applicable to product requirements
  • Demonstrate awareness of other enterprise products that may overlap with and/or impact products or applications
  • Define overall conceptual solutions and product/software prototypes to support the proof of concept
  • Demonstrate understanding of applicable architectures (e.g., integration, data, application, security) and develop solution options that integrate and align with them
  • Anticipate design scalability and ensures inclusion in product solutions
  • Ensure that non-functional requirements are addressed in product solutions (e.g., SLAs, performance requirements, performance guarantees)

Experience:

  • Experience in Healthcare and Salesforce applications.
  • • Experience working in web or Salesforce application is an added value
  • • Experience with Agile
  • • Testing: need to be aware of different testing methods. Should understand the testing lifecycle
  • • Healthcare experience is an added value
  • • Software engineer in testing – looking for technical queue experience.
  • • Automation - ATDD experience and Java, selenium and Cucumber experience is needed
  • • Will be working in a Scrum team – converting user stories into automated testing
  • • Looking for Web/Platform testing work experience. Salesforce is not required, but is a big plus

Top Requirements:

  • • Automation - ATDD experience and Java, selenium and Cucumber knowledge
  • • Testing: need to be aware of different testing methods. Should understand the testing lifecycle
  • • Experience with Agile

Team and Team size:

  • The Team name Institutional Clinical Product which is mainly for Pathway Applications
  • The team consist of 1 Product Lead – Manager, 6 Scrum teams/ 12 QE’s /24 Developers- Each Scrum team has a CO, BA/Scrum Master, etc

Working Time:

  • The work hours are usually 8 am – 4 pm but every other weeks we also expect QE’s to support for Production check out which usually happened at night from 7 pm to 3am CST.

Interview Process:

  • a. How many rounds? As of now I would say 2 rounds for sure which includes one basic Interview and then the Technical Interview. If my team is not satisfied or there is any confusion then we may go for another round of Technical interview
  • b. Video vs. phone? – We will have both
  • c. How technical will the interviews be? We are expecting SDET qualified QE’s which is our Highest demand so the questions will include some thing around that + Automation ATDD experience
