Job Summary

  • The CRM team is looking for a hybrid Product/Project Manager to lead the strategy and execution of automated, scalable capabilities for our marketing teams, utilizing an existing Salesforce platform with Marketing Cloud integration.
  • You would coordinate across teams and time zones to create efficient processes, gain leadership buy-in and produce quality deliverables, developing stakeholder ideas into requirements and ultimately platform solutions.

Job-Specific Responsibilities

  • The CRM Strategic Project Manager will develop project plans and key milestones for deliverables, drive business process, conduct workshops collecting detailed requirements, guide best practice design concepts, partner closely with technical team to ensure quality implementation and assist our change management and training teams to communicate new capabilities to our stakeholders.
  • They should have strong facilitation skills and be capable of creating sophisticated presentations for senior leadership.
  • They should have a solid understanding of the Salesforce platform, marketing experience, background in planning and managing large enterprise IT projects, an ability to be proactive, innovative and team-oriented in a virtual setting, and drive key deliverables and creative design concepts based on the latest trends and best practices.

Responsibilities Will Include

  • Define and plan the Marketing Salesforce roadmap by coordinating the needs of adjacent teams (Business Development, Contracting, IT, HR), prioritizing projects based on overarching business strategy and funding constraints, and delivering to plan
  • Present and communicate roadmaps, solutions, and project status with business stakeholders at all levels (including C-suite)
  • Ensure quality deliverables both internally (user stories, planning, testing oversight, training input, adoption oversight), and externally (presentations, project plans, roadmaps, RACI charts)
  • Act as a consultant/partner to stakeholders by being fully immersed in their business, and providing technical solutions based on aligned business strategy
  • Lead requirement and design sessions with business partners
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile inconsistency and break down high-level information into details
  • Research potential business requirement solutions using various resources, including, but not limited to,
  • Develop and document work flow processes and procedures
  • Create and oversee the creation of mock-ups/wireframes as visual design concepts and present possible solutions to business stakeholders
  • Create functional requirements for developers and provide suggestions during the development stage that meet the customer's business needs
  • Work with technical team to transform new requirements into design and implementation
  • Define and manage project goals, objectives, scope, and schedule
  • Manage, monitor, and proactively communicate project work plans, issues, risks, and key decisions both to internal team and stakeholders
  • Coordinate with teammates to oversee project build, acceptance testing, training, and adoption
  • Contribute to UAT planning, communications, and change management activities
  • Mentor, develop and guide team of Product Analysts, and conduct regular performance reviews to help them grow in their skillset

Job Requirements

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator certification as well as 8+ years of Salesforce hands-on experience, preferably in Sales Cloud utilizing Lead, Contact, Account, & Opportunity objects
  • Minimum of 3 years proven success in Salesforce project planning & implementation
  • PMP or other relevant certification and experience preferred, e.g., Scrum Master
  • Minimum 4 years experience working closely with Salesforce Developers, assisting in design and development recommendations
  • Must have strong Salesforce Lightning knowledge/experience and understanding of constraints of the platform
  • Knowledge of Agile and traditional waterfall methodologies required, inclusive of Jira Atlassian toolsets to manage backlog (Epics, Features, Stories)
  • Understands Salesforce platform and data models
  • Ability to recognize complex problems and apply creativity to analyze situations, develop solutions and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as active listening skills
