Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • We are building the technology platform to enable MBM to achieve the aggressive growth outlined in our 5-year plan and seek a Technical Product Analyst to support the Technical Product Managers in defining the vision and plan for that Platform.
  • Technical Product Strategy at MBM requires a unique blend of real-world experience and theory, entrepreneurial zeal, and boardroom polish. You will work as a member of Technology’s multi-disciplinary teams to create market leading offerings and ventures for MBM.
  • You’re always up to date on the latest technology, you have a point of view on experience and interface design, and you enjoy digging into the “why?” before defining the “what” and “how”.

Top Responsibilities:

  • • Collaborate with business/ technology stakeholders (e.g., System Analysts, architects) to communicate business and technical requirements
  • • Collaborate with project team members to create Capabilities and Features to support product backlog definition
  • • Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements.
  • • Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems.
  • • Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses.
  • • Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks.
  • • Acts as a product subject matter expert for agile teams
  • • Support Technical Product Manager to define and maintain the product backlog on a daily basis to ensure that priorities adhere to the strategic product direction.
  • • Support the engineering teams with the execution of creative assets developed in support of a feature, such as the visual design, content strategy and copywriting, to ensure adherence to strategic vision

Software tools/skills:

  • • Experience with agile lifecycle management tools like JIRA and Rally
  • • Experience with Microsoft Office Products

Skills/attributes:

  • • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • • 2 or more years of technical product or business analysis
  • • Able to navigate the product lifecycle (Ideate, Evaluate, Develop, Launch)
  • • Demonstrated experience in working with agile development team
  • • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation and quality are synonymous
  • • Proven analytical and quantitative skills (includes ability to use tools such as Excel); ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop project business cases.
  • • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically, with a positive outlook and willingness to take personal initiatives
  • • High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Nice to have:

  • • Experience with healthcare IT standards including FHIR and EDI
  • • Experience with agile lifecycle management tools like JIRA and Rally
  • • Experience with SQL and/or database analytics
  • • Demonstrated understanding of health care industry
  • • 2 or more years working in or around clinical/UM/Care delivery environments or technology
  • • Demonstrated understanding of the difference between business requirements and technical solutions
  • • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders, plus the ability to build strong and sustainable relationships, and the capability to interact within all levels of the organization

Working Time:

  • Typical hours are 8:00 - 5:00 pm central

Interview Process:

  • Phone interviews will be used for two rounds of interviewing. Video recommended for second interview.
