Description:

  • This position is NonExempt.
  • Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.
  • Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses.
  • May be responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document. Familiar with variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • May lead and direct the work of others.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • May require a bachelor's degree or 4-6 years experience.

Job expectations:

  • To be able to write clear, well organized internal standard operating procedure, process, and guideline documents in language that can be followed by users.
  • Be able to develop documentation to convey complex IT concepts and processes with clarity and ease to non-IT audiences.
  • To maintain stylistic and organizational standards to unify communications.
  • To edit content of existing documents to conform to relevant standards and maximize clarity.
  • To maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders to facilitate communication between different subject matter experts in order to retrieve and understand technical details to be included into documents.
  • To engage with SMEs to understand, and where necessary process-flow the process to be documented
  • To participate in document reviews with appropriate personnel and edit documentation based on comments
