Description:

  • This is an engineering leader position focused on software delivery.
  • Technical skills coupled with leadership and mentoring skills is key.
  • Very hands on technical leader / mentor.

Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • This is for the CDS (clinical decision support) application

Ideal Background:

  • A Java web & enterprise lead developer
  • A developer with full stack (UI, API, Integration) experience
  • A developer with experience using Github, CI/CD DevOps exposure, Cloud experience
  • A developer with a history of technical support
  • A self-motivated individual that excels working in a small team
  • An individual with a high analytic ability
  • An individual with a high degree of integrity
  • An individual that is customer focused, strong service work ethic

Experience:

  • Must have 5+ years of Java experience.
  • One who has done technical support and can write new code not just research defects.

Team and Team size:

  • Agile teams of 5-10 people - 1 PM/SM, 3-5 dev, 1-2 qa/e.
  • Developer will be assigned to a team of 5-10 which owns delivery of a technical capability or app stack sub-component.

Role responsibilities:

  • Software development and engineering of prioritized product requirements
  • Development of technical and leadership aspects of junior developers / engineers
  • Potential for rule to manage a small team of engineers
  • Provide technical thought leadership for assigned team / components
  • Perform design and code reviews
  • Drive delivery quality across engineering team
  • Actively contribute in cross team design and troubleshooting session
  • Suggest Improvements in Architecture, Design and Implementation of the applications to increase stability
  • Suggest Improvements in Monitoring and Application Logging
  • Production support as-necessary

Interview Process:
