Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • We are building Behavioral Health Data Platform using latest tools and technologies.
  • As a part of this MDH reporting initiative, we will be sourcing data from a database hosted in our partner AWS clou to Azure cloud and enable reporting capabilities for our business partners

Ideal Background:

  • Candidate with some healthcare experience is preferred. Ideal candidate should have cloud devops experience and very strong experience in data management, Kafka, Kubernetes, CI/CD and Jenkins

Team and Team size:

  • 4 engineers, 1 data analyst, 0.5 SM/PM

Top Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop extract, transform and load data from AWS to Azure public cloud
  • Able to prioritize and work by collaborating with product owner and make independent technology/architecture decisions when required
  • Design and develop cloud based solutions with data security considerations (both industry standard and organizational mandated)
  • Design and develop data driven solutions considering all aspects including data quality, alerts, dashboards and other operational considerations
  • When required, able to stretch and work during non-business hours to be able to meeting program required timelines

Skills/attributes:

  • Azure and/or AWS services (particularly relational databases, Kubernetes services, VMs,
  • VNets, Containers, Gateways) - 3 years
  • APIs - 3 years
  • Data managements concepts and SQL - 5 years
  • CI/CD, Jenkins - 3 years

Nice to have:

  • Healthcare industry experience, UI development skills, backend service development

Working Time:

  • 9am to 5pm, may need to work extra hours or shift mode when required to meet timelines (~10%)

Interview Process:

  • a. How many rounds? 2 (1 screening to assess fit, followed by 1 technical round. Expectation is that the vendor does required pre-screening)
  • b. Video vs. phone? Video
  • c. How technical will the interviews be? 2-3 member panel with technical expertise
