Primarily responsible for the identification/development of IT solutions for external clients using company products, outsourced IT solutions and/or proprietary tools/techniques that others implement. Defines client needs and develops a plan and proposal for delivery of the project. Has broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups.

The Main Responsibilities
• Responsible for verifying and implementing the detailed technical design solution to the problem as identified by the Project/Technical Manager
• Responsible for providing a detailed technical design for enterprise hybrid IT solutions
• Regularly leads in the technical assessment and delivery of specific technical solutions to the customer
• Provides a team structure conducive to high performance, and manages the team lifecycle stages
• Coordinates implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations for technology solutions in following work domains: networks, security, cloud or platforms
• Provides advanced technical consulting and advice to others on proposal efforts, solution design, system management, tuning and modification of solutions. Provides input to HP strategy moving forward
• Collects and determines data from appropriate sources to assist in determining customer needs and requirements
• Engages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies; often needs to develop new methods to apply to the situation
• Owns and manages knowledge sharing within a community (e.g. team, practice, or project). Ensures team members support knowledge sharing and re-use requirements of project
• Mentors and coaches the technical team members and reviews solutions with customers
• Creates and supports sales activities, manages bids, or major input into the sales lifecycle
• Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives
• be responsible for a wide range of activities that span the entire spectrum of current state discovery to delivery of recommendations, architectures, plans, roadmaps, and financial benefits for our clients as they journey to the Cloud or enhance their current experience. This team of highly capable strategic consultants will form the “tip of the spear” for the delivery of a wide range of public, private, and hybrid platforms.

• Strategic thinker with the proven ability to identify opportunities, formulate supporting business cases and gain support from stakeholders.
• Typically 10+ years related experience of strategic initiatives within a large, matrixed and complex organization
• comprehensive knowledge of network and security. CCNP strong is plus
• Broad and comprehensive knowledge of Cloud providers, Amazon, Azure, Google and private cloud (HCI). Certifications are plus
• Strong communication skills with ability to align stakeholders on complex technical decisions
• Experience with coaching and mentoring technical team members
• Expertise in working with the tools and technologies relevant to the product team (automation, discovery, workload/VM migration, BCDR)
• Understanding of holistic enterprise architecture and interplay of analytical components with enterprise IT components (compute, network, security, storage architecture, program governance, etc.)
• Experience developing executive communications, both written and verbal.
• experience with BC/DR core concepts including BIA analysis, DR Solution and plan development and documentation, BC/DR testing, emergency management communications is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
