    • Bachelor's (Preferred)

    • Human Resources: 2 years (Preferred)

About The Role

You will be working closely with the Director of Business Operations and Head of Warehouse Operations to ensure a positive and healthy culture. We currently have warehouse staff, contract staff, remote staff, leased staff and onsite staff. You will act as the liaison between the warehouse staff and management for everything HR.

What You Would Do:

  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relations, build morale, employee engagement, and increase retention.
  • Support the HR department in implementing programs that improve the employee experience.
  • Manage payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Ensure compliance and company policies and procedures and legal responsibilities.
  • Provide coaching, direction, and counsel to department heads, as well as all levels of employees to proactively anticipate, prevent, and resolve a wide area of HR issues.
  • Support implementation of corporate-wide policies, procedures, systems, and initiatives.
  • Answer and assist all employees with general HR questions and requests.
  • Assist with time sheet calculations and provide accurate calculations to staffing agencies each week.
  • Collaborate with our recruiter and department heads to fulfill open positions.
  • Any duties as assigned

Who We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, preferred
  • Experience working in HR
  • Familiar with Employment Law
  • English fluency required, Bilingual Spanish/ English preferred*

*Bonus Points If You:

  • Prior start-up experience
  • PHR certification preferred
