Projects the candidate will be working on:
- We are building a system for Optum Tech Finance to track costs by department for hardware and software maintenance contracts, hardware and software purchases, and labor.
- This system will eliminate the need for tracking data in spreadsheets, will help ensure data quality by reducing manual input errors, help bring better visibility to costs by department, and streamline the quarterly budget forecasting process.
Ideal Background:
- Ideally, we’re looking for someone who is strong on UI development in Angular 2+ (we have a good amount of backend, API developers now), has an interest in the business problem, and has great communication/collaboration skills.
MUST HAVES:
- 7 years of JavaScript/TypeScript Framework experience, preferably using Angular 2+.
- 7 years of Node.js & Express experience.
- 7+ years of Relational Database experience, preferably in SQL Server.
- Excellent communication, especially over virtual meeting technologies like WebEx and MS Teams
- Interest in the business problem and has the skills to interact with finance personnel (our clients)
- Excellent collaboration skills to brainstorm on creative solutions to complex problems
TOP REQUIREMENTS:
- Development team leadership/management experience (7 years)
- TypeScript/JavaScript skills, ideally using Angular and Node.js (7 years)
- Strong SQL skills (7 years)
