Position Summary:

  • The Technical Project Management Lead is responsible for managing the process of designing and implementing the capabilities of their given technology solution (Workday, Kronos, or ServiceNow).
  • They will partner with the HR functional lead to support the broader program execution activities for this technology and work with the SI to realize the HCM vision.


Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on position on a software implementation project responsible for project management, technical requirements management, and coordinating connectivity throughout each stage of the program.
  • Partners with the functional lead to develop technical solutions, create the high level design, and drive the detailed design process.
  • Coordinates software configuration, integration development, and vendor technical activities. 
  • Collaborates with the other project managers, SMEs, application technical analysts, and enterprise architects. 

These tasks include:

  • Manage schedule, scope and budget of the project
  • Ensure adherence to ULC governance processes
  • Actively participate in design workshops with product leads and capture all design decisions
  • Facilitating connectivity across business systems programs
  • Day to day management of technical resources responsible for security, conversions, testing, and reporting

Skill Set Requirements:

  1. Excellent project management skills
  2. In-depth knowledge of technology and architecture requirements
  3. Builds strong relationships across the program
  4. Ability to explain technology in simple terminology
  5. Hands-on experience implementing cloud technology required.
