Tell us about your department:
  • I’m responsible for the Software Engineering and support for multiple capabilities in People Technologies.  
  • We have 2 ServiceNow Platform Product teams with multiple squads within them.  
  • This position will support my Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Discovery squad.
Project Description:
  • This is to deploy our recently acquired ServiceNow’s Discovery and Service Mapping technology for auto-discovery of Hardware and Software Configuration Items.
Position Summary/Job Description:
  • Meet with customers to gather Business requirements and transform them into written functional technical requirements for ServiceNow development.
  • Works directly with Engineers and Product Managers to review the intake demand and build a roadmap to align ServiceNow with organization strategy.
  • Leading Scrum Ceremonies, including story creation, grooming, defect tracking, prioritizing, etc.
  • Track the completion of technical unit testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Assist with technical writing – Design documents, release notes, user guides, Knowledge articles.
  • Status communications and reporting as needed.
  • Assist with coordinating Sprint and Release cycles as needed using agile methodologies.

  • Experience with ServiceNow (2+ years)

What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for:
  • ServiceNow Administrator certification.
  • Experience with Portal technology.
